Who We Are
We’re a crew of pals who made a movie!
Most of us have known each other since college and have made a bunch of sketches and things together over the years. This is our largest creative endeavor so far and it was an absolute treat to bring it to life. A few of those buds (Danny & Thomas) now have an awesome production company, Offbeat Films, that brought this story to the screen.
Jules’ story is inspired by Geena’s true story of vagina-owner health woes. While her issue may be super specific, we think we all can relate to the feeling of being at odds with our bods.
What’s the plan?
We’re currently on the festival circuit!
Impenetrable has been entered into a whole bunch of amazing festivals and we have all our fingeys and tootsies crossed that we’ll get to share this silly movie with as many folks as possible.
Also, there’s a whole lot more to this story! More puppets, more medical things, more silliness. If anyone wants to expand this into a feature or a series, sign me up!
